Apple TV 4 Upgrades

Apple has revealed a major facelift of its set-top television box, the Apple TV by launching a Siri voice control and a new remote. Apple has finally launched its 4th generation apple TV. The new box has got a totally new focus and operates on new operation system tvOS, which is an amped up version of the iPad system and iPhone iOS.

Remote and design

The physical design of Apple TV has gone through some changes with the revamped
apple technology. The box itself appears a bit taller comparing to the third generation model, however more or less the similar.

The remote has a complete makeover, transforming it into a slim-line wand with a glass touch-pad at the top menu, a volume rocker, siri buttons and a home button. It is very light and enabled with Bluetooth 4.0, requiring charging every 3 months or more through the lightening port at its bottom. There is also an option to employ a Bluetooth-facilitated keyboard.

Software

The user interface appears cleaner and is more user friendly than its predecessor, which has been labeled as cluttered and frustrating to use. One of the most desirable upgrades is the incorporation of digital assistance Siri to serve as a deep voice-triggered search facility, consequently doing away with the bluntly painful process of keying in the film or program which you look for. The voice recognition technology works without any obvious failures to understand a command.

When it comes to specifications, the brand new apple TV features an A8 processor, the same which powers iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. Though, the faster A9 processor is found in the newly launched iPhone 6S and plus is not featured here, the A8 itself is a great upgrade over the present generation of Apple TV device featuring the single-core A5.
